Trap & Skeet
Trap & Skeet the hours are
now: Sundays from noon until 4:00 PM, Tuesdays from
5:00 PM to Dark, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00
PM.
Once the lights go up we'll go
back to the usual time of 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesdays.
We will keep the Friday sessions as long is there
is interest shown
The Trap & Skeet program has taken
a new direction under the watchful eye of new program
director, Norma Minor. The plan is for the T &
S shooters, themselves, to take on a larger part
of the labor, planning and operation.
You will see more of our folks filling
the throwers, cleaning the sidewalks, hefting the
equipment, and generally working to establish what
the shooters want and will support.
We are taking special care to keep
a constant inventory and accounting of the expenses
and incomes so that we can closely watch the profits
coming in. All of this will be invaluable to us
in helping the program to build and grow.
This winter (traditionally slow) will
be spent in working out the bugs and getting used
to the new setup. But with the first signs of Spring,
we hope you all will plan to join us and help to
make Trap & Skeet into the moneymaker it was
years ago. We have terrific grounds, equipment and
enthusiasm, so help us to keep the momentum going!
In the meantime, Sunday afternoons
are a great time to stop-by and talk to friends
(lots of non-T&Sers show up just for the
conversation).
Note:
Tuesday evening operation will go back to the usual
time of 6:00 to 9:00 PM once the lights are up and
operational.
These shoots are open to the public.
All are welcome.
