Erie County Conservation League hosted the second annual "M-1 For
Veterans Fund Raiser Match" on Saturday, March 13, 2010. We will
donated 100% of the proceeds from the event to the national organization
to assist disabled veterans attend matches.

Firing will commence at 9:30 a.m. on the 200 yard rifle range. Any
current or vintage military style rifle, with open or telescopic sight,
may be used. The course of fire will be as follows:
Each competitor will be allowed 5 sighting shots in a time limit of
5 minutes prior to the match.
Stage one: 10 shots slow fire from the prone position in 10 minutes.
Stage two: 10 shots rapid fire from the prone position in 80 seconds.
Target: We will use the NRA 300 yard prone target reduced for 200 yards.
Bragging rights will be divided into two categories, "open sights"
and "telescopic sights."
We ask that all rifles have "EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATORS" in
place when un-cased. Ear and eye protection is mandatory while shooting
on the range.
This event is open to members and guests. Donated prizes from local
merchants will be given out by lottery after the conclusion of the match.
All shooters should have a 200 yard zero before signing up to shoot.
