Friends of ECCL
The Erie County Conservation League has always been a multifaceted organization - promoting hunting, land and water conservation, firearm competitions, safety, education, and much more. Now, the Board of Trustees has created a fully functioning, stand-alone, tax-deductible organization to support specific activities.
The Friends of the Erie County Conservation League (F-ECCL) is a nonprofit, tax-deductible (501c3) organization that will work along side the ECCL but place emphasis on those things that serve to promote shooting safety and education. F-ECCL will encourage interest in conservation, the environment, and outdoor sports... things like hunters' education, the junior rifle team, and basis pistol courses.
These activities will continue to function through the ECCL but may receive some financing and promotion from the F-ECCL. This will allow us to have fundraisers and receive tax-deductible donations from donors.
