Action Pistol - May 2007
Well, another nice shooting day, hopefully
everyone enjoyed the course of fire. (Getting away
from DMSC may not be a bad idea huh?) Here are the
scores for May. I am looking forward to June, I
think I may mix it up a bit!!!!
I had a question on scoring: Here
it is in a nut shell.
Any hit other than a "0"
or "A" is a "point down". So
a "1"= 1 point down, "2"= 2
points down, you get the picture right?
Then I take any misses and penalties and they are
10 point down each. Add them together with total
points down then multiply by .20 . Why? I am not
sure, this is just a basis to relate the points
down to a "time" I then add your time
to your "points down time" and that is
how I come up with a score. This is called ENOS
scoring for Mr. Brian Enos, another champion action
Pistol shooter.
