What's happening:
February 2012 Newsletter: The February 2012 ECCL Newsletter is now online.
2012 Junior Rifle Schedule: The 2012 Junior Rifle schedule is posted on the Junior Rifle page. Come watch the Junior Rifle Team in action and give them your support.
2012 Schedules: We have posted the 2012 scheduled dates for the Rimfire, Action Shooting, 300 Yard, and High Power matches. Please go to the respective links to view the schedules.
Bulletin Board: We have a bulletin board, located on the new Action Shooting Building, to let you know what’s going on at the club. You can even see it from your car.
Archery Range: We have a new archery range. It’s located on the hill across the parking lot from the 25 and 50 yard ranges. There is a building on the hill that has two 3D deer targets and two foam targets inside. The combination for the building is the same as the gate. Please put the targets back in the building when finished. Also inside the building is a sign-in sheet. We are trying to get a picture of how often the range is used so we will know how to improve it. You can shoot from anywhere on the archery range as long as you shoot towards the straw bales. Have fun guys and gals.
ECCL Winter Gun Show: The ECCL Winter show is scheduled for February 25, 2012.
Hunters Ed Class: Instructor, Tom Taylor has confirmed that there will be a Hunters Ed class conducted at the clubhouse on March 17, 2012. This is a great opportunity for the youngsters to get-in their education requirements and for anyone else to get in some refresher time. Please call 1-800-Wildlife to pre-register.
Personal Conduct Policy: We have added a Personal Conduct Policy to the Range Rules page. Please read it and take it to heart.
Family Pot-Luck: Bring a covered-dish to share - No additional costs to you. We will provide the paper plates and plastic utensils. Bring your own beverage, or we will have the usual variety of soda-pop on hand at the usual price ($1 for pop and bottled water). Family Pot-Luck will start at 6:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month.
Basic Pistol and Rifle Training: The Basic Training program has wrapped-up for this season. By the time the cold weather came around, the ladies were shooting with confidence and moving like pros, even taking trips to other venues to show-off their skills. NRA Instructor Alex Pocs has taken this group from being timid about firearms to being safe and assertive.
Plan to join-in, come spring...there is always more to learn and Alex is making the learning a pleasure.
Friends of ECCL: Donations made to F-ECCL are tax-deductible and will be used to support programs like the Jr. Rifle Program, Hunters' Education Classes, and Youth Tap & Skeet. For more info, click here.
Lost and Found: Any items found on club property may be turned in at the club house during trap and skeet or to any club officer.
